“Since I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Jan. 7 of this year, the little things in life don’t matter as much. I learned that it’s OK to let others help you when you aren’t able to do things for yourself.
Waiting is the worst part. Sometimes I just needed peace and quiet. My family and friends gave that to me, and I appreciated it very much.
I’ve been looking forward to my Seed of Hope celebration since my first day of chemo. It was good closure for this experience. Now I’m looking forward to wearing a ponytail and taking a vacation that doesn’t end with a doctor’s appointment!”
